Most forms of Eastern Bodywork (Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Breema & Tantsu) are practiced on a mat, with clothes on and include the following basic elements...
1. Compressions or Palming 2. Stretches 3. Rotation of Joints 4. Rocking & Shaking 5. Brushes 6. Stimulating Pressure Points 7. Creating Energetic Flow Along Meridians My goal during sessions is to help integrate Mind, Body and Spirit. I take you on an internal journey. I like to think of myself as more of a guide than therapist. What’s provided is not just a physical experience but an energetic one. One that hopefully leaves you feeling more whole, more centered, more integrated than before. Through assisted yoga like stretches, rocking, compressions, the pressing of acupoints and energetic chakra holds, both you and I enter into a trance state, each on our own journey. The experience varies from individual to individual. Some experience deep relaxation. Others feel like they went on a long dreamy journey through the many dimensions of the Inner Self. Some experience profound bliss states. Others experience considerable pain relief from aching muscles and joints. Some feel lighter mentally and physically. For others the journey can be psychedelic or visionary. For some the journey is sensual, for others not at all. Some even discover they tap into their innermost Source of Unconditional Love. The experience can vary from session to session, even for the same individual. The nature of the journey is dictated by the needs and callings of your Body, your Soul and your Psyche. My role is primarily to listen and respond. Your own Greater Self, does the rest. |
